The film pays homage to the golden age of Egyptian cinema and to one of her most brilliant stars—Soad Hosni, who from the early 1960 into the 90s embodied the modern Arab woman in her complexity and paradoxes. Pieced exclusively from VHS footage, the film is a tragedy in three acts wherein the actress Soad Hosni recounts her dreamed life story through the dialogue of her films.
