這是一部沒有外景、道具、風景、特效，卻極富戲劇張力的作品。以兒童和青少年為主體，看他們對人類、孤獨、愛、上帝等議題侃侃而談，極簡樸實的影像風格，更加突出每個孩子獨一無二的個性；大量的特寫鏡頭，則記錄下每一個表情的細節與深度。他們用有別於成人的視角看這個世界，常常語出驚人，這些親密的對話暴露出現代社會的真相，時而憂鬱，時而詼諧。

Shot in a minimalist fashion and without exterior action, props, landscapes or special effects, Conversations On Serious Topics raises questions about loneliness, love, God, the world and human relations. Its main characters are children and teenagers with a special ability, and those intimate conversations are at times melancholic, at times comical, at times dramatic. “The world is people.” “Don’t you believe in God? I can teach you how to start believing…”
