八卦山下的社頭鄉是一個全球化下被遺忘的小鎮。這裡是台灣唯一的襪子聚落，每兩個人就有一人以襪子為生。原本，一雙襪子可以讓一對夫妻買房子、養孩子，甚至從家庭代工變成頭家老闆。現在，這些夢想卻被全球化的大浪衝擊，唯有「黑狗兄」李東林不願向命運低頭，決定自己拯救自己。人到中年、腰又受傷，身處在事業與身體的雙重逆境，他卻想要再殺一次球，從代工走向自創品牌！他會面臨哪些考驗？有可能逆轉勝嗎？
In a little town in rural Taiwan, half the population makes their living from making socks. Due to the big encounter and hit by the globalization, the factories are closing down. But the only and last man, Black Dog, refuses to be knocked down by the fate. He is determined to save his own business. How will Black Dog, a small-time sock maker, stand up amidst the crisis?
