2007年柬埔寨政府決定填湖造鎮，將新生地租給企業建設豪宅與商城，造成數百個家庭頓時流離失所。小蝦米敵不過大鯨魚，眼睜睜的看著自己的家園被怪手摧毀，棲身之處夷為平地，卻得不到分毫補償。本片揭露了社會的不公不義，少數人享受政治與經濟的權力遊戲，無情地掠食貧窮不及備載、人權不斷被踐踏的市井小民。抗議的人們則不斷遭鎮壓、放逐或囚禁，卻也在抗爭過程中顯露出他們對正義的渴望以及無法撼動的勇氣，宛如近年來都更亂象的柬埔寨版。
It’s a documentary film about forced evictions in Cambodia. A phenomenon that is raging throughout the country. The government grants land concessions to powerful companies to use for commercial purposes. Some of these lands belong to the people.
