身為猶太人的導演生長於以色列的海法市，在這裡猶太人與阿拉伯人共居一城。基於想了解族群融合的現況，她決定在一家阿拉伯人開的髮廊工作，在洗髮的同時訪問客人，藉此呈現形形色色的阿拉伯與猶太女性，以及他們對於以色列的政治、族群對立及融合的看法。令人訝異的是，兩個族群之間彼此尊重、沒有明顯的仇恨。
It’s the story of a little Christian-Arab hair salon in Israel, the story of coexistence between Arab and Jewish women, and the story of Iris, the filmmaker, who washed their hair last summer. Expecting to hear from the Arab clients about the difficulties of living as a minority in Israel, Iris was surprised to find out that this hair salon is friendly meeting point for Jewish and Arab women.
