鳥類專家林家民，渴望如候鳥擁有自在的天空，現實生活中卻陷入家庭與親情的困境，和不孕的妻子關係日益緊張，與弟弟冷戰多年。候鳥南遷的時節，所有衝突亦驟然引爆考驗著渴愛的人們。秋去春來悲喜更迭，候鳥終將捎來愛的信息。當去年痛失愛子的安琪兒再度回濕地孕育幼鳥時，林家等待已久的孩子也終於出生了。在生與死的悲喜間，隱隱暗藏著上天的旨意。那是用愛的言語寫成的、候鳥捎來的信息。

Min is a man who lives a dream life. He has great looks, a job he is passionate about at the Taipei wild bird conservatory and a loving wife. However, there is daily growing tension between him and his wife over family planning. Meanwhile, oblivious to the life of the man who studies them, the migratory Stilts continue their annual ritual. Hidden with their feathery actions is a message of love waiting for Min and his family to uncover.
