生兒育女是許多人共通的人生夢想，然而當治療不孕的過程對母親身體產生了傷害，究竟要孩子？還是要妻子？奧麗和蓋是以色列知名的新聞主播夫妻檔，他們雖然在各自的前一段婚姻中都已有了子女，但兩人渴望擁有共同生養的孩子；這個願望促使他們經歷折磨的人工受孕過程，並且將私密的心路歷程全都錄，公諸世人面前。本片探討的是許多現代夫妻共同面臨的課題，以及日漸發展的生育科技又是如何改變人類生命繁衍的意義？

Orly and Guy are successful TV anchors in Israel. They both have children in their previous marriages, but they are still eager to have their own child. Their wish leads to the torturing and traumatic fertility treatment afterwards. To record this process, they allow the camera to accompany them—even in certain intimate emotional moments.
