出生中國河北的老李因為戰爭來到台灣，一待六十年，再也沒回去故鄉。但是在夢裡，他早已踏上故鄉千百回，每回都是血流成河的景象。對老李來說，從軍不是為了政治，是為了吃飯；在誰家吃飯，就說誰家好。韓戰爆發，老李在南北韓交界被俘虜，來到台灣。老李結婚，有了家庭。但一顆心總是懸著，怕別人知道他當過共產黨。每每照鏡子，都無法忍受已是白髮蒼蒼的自己，於是他戴上假髮，穿上女裝，想彌補錯過的所有年華⋯⋯。
LI was born in Hebei Province of China, and the war brought him to Taiwan where he has spent his past six decades. LI never returns to his hometown again, but has revisited it countless times in his dreams. However, whenever he dreams of it, he sees blood flowing all over the place. Seeing himself in the mirror, he cannot bear his hair turning grey. Therefore, he puts on a wig and a women’s dress, trying to make up all those years wasted when he was young…
