南丁格爾曾說過：「人就如蠟燭，生而為人就應該守本份得燃燒自己，照亮別人。」六月是鳳凰花開的畢業季，懷著白衣天使夢的護專生，正一步步踏入社會，渴望成為幫助病人的小太陽。在醫院裡，忙著照顧病人的是一年前同樣抱著夢想離開學校的新手護士，但現實卻讓她分不清病的究竟是病人還是自己。台灣的護理工作環境，是否足夠健全與完善？讓他們真的能如同南丁格爾般，照亮他人？還是最終燃燒了自己，卻換不得照亮別人的機會？
“People like candles, everyone should be burned themselves and to light up others,” says Florence NIGHTINGALE. In June, the graduation season, thenursing school students are leaving school. With the dreams of being the angels in white, they desperately want to be the light for their patients. However, under the working environment in Taiwan, will they be able to fulfill their dreams? Can they really light up others, or will they burn themselves out instead?
