印度的加爾各答，一個走過英國殖民歲月，多元族群與文化共生的城市，有著其他印度城市所沒有的「中國早餐」。18世紀末起，家鄉貧困動盪的華人，長途跋涉來到「黃金地」加爾各答，漫漫兩百年來歷經印度獨立、國共內戰、中印戰爭與政權輪替，在種姓制度夾縫中生存的華人，他們的地位、身份與認同，隨著時代在邊界移動…

本片導演深入加爾各答的中國城，探索你所不知道的印度。

This is a documentary regarding Chinese immigrant in India. Over 200 years, they experienced British colonial period, independent period, Sino-Indian war, and the rotation of regimes. The film collects opinions from the locals about politics, economic, race, and culture through practical fieldwork. It also investigates the identity and mental status of the Chinese people in the history of immigration, and traces the stories behind them.
