誰說男人才能上太空？熱愛冒險的酷兒女性主義工程師席薇雅從小夢想無重力人生，她申請成為太空人被拒，因此決定探討女太空人在眾多男性當中到底佔有什麼樣的地位？女性主義學者唐娜．哈洛薇在80年代提出的革命性「賽伯格理論（cyborg）」在本片裡有完美的體現。從太空狗、飛航蛙到《星艦迷航記》的黑人女艦員，幽默諷刺而嚴肅；更以世界各地太空研究單位的珍貴史料畫面，追溯太空史上的傑出女性，認識這個仍深植父權文化的領域。
Space engineer Silvia Casalino dreams to be an astronaut since childhood. When her application is rejected, she decides to figure out how is the position as a female astronaut among males. She explores the female icons in history of astronomy and cyber culture. The film is indeed a personal story talks about the relationship between gender and technology.
